Looking at the straight ChainMate with a few month’s experience, I decided that it would be far easier to use two-handed.
I tried using the Stand, but this was designed to control the ChainMate in a vertical direction, as opposed to horizontal.
I then considered attaching the chainlube can to the ChainMate, designing a ‘Can Handle’; a simple sheet metal design, with the use of a Velcro strap turn the can and ChainMate into a single unit.
This allows the operator to spin the back wheel and press the button on the aerosol can in unison.
